HarperCollins Throws Employees Off the Ship

20080404_harper_collins_logo_18-copy We all know that the publishing industry is sinking steadily.  Today, New York publishing house HarperCollins attempted to prevent its ship from sinking by shuttering an entire division and letting go of two executives.

It’s the internet’s fault, I tell you!  How am I going to get published now if publishing houses don’t even have the money to pay for its employees, let alone book deals?  I suppose there’s always self-publishing
