I have precisely $8.00 in my pocket and about $20.00 in the bank. My unemployment check doesn’t come in until Friday and I have a friend who owes me $120.00, but he can’t give that to me until tomorrow, or maybe even Thursday at the latest! I feel so pathetic, considering I didn’t have enough money to buy a drink or a meal yesterday. I even gathered all my change and dumped it into a Coinstar machine just so I could deposit that into my bank account, which was already in the negative yesterday morning. I haven’t felt this broke in a long time, and it doesn’t feel good. Plus with all the layoffs in the media, it’s starting to look highly doubtful I’ll get a job soon. I need to start looking at other options…

Your bank probably would have counted that change for free instead of paying Coinstar for the privilege.

you could have rolled the coins yourself. It’s tedious, but hey, it sounds like you could use some things to pass the time.

I know what you mean.
Unemployment is up up up.
No end in sight.

just as a heads up TD bank has a free coin counting machine, and you don’t have to belong to their bank to use it. They also give out lollypops.

We needed gas money so we stoled it from “Piggy” and headed to the Coinstar. This isn’t fun.
